Hello writer!

I'm excited to participate in this exchange! Feel free to ask questions in comments if you wish - I left anon commenting on. As for my fic preferences, my tastes are varied. Well done crackfic is one of my favorite things ever. With respect to smut and romance, the gender of the pairings doesn't matter as much to me as the characters themselves. I really enjoy smut with the right characters, and provided that there is some sort of connection between the characters (romantic love, attraction, or feelings of enmity - it doesn't have to be a connection based on positive emotions). I like fluff that feels more real instead of saccharine. While I love romance in fics, I also enjoy plotty gen. Finally, I love darkfic - horror, gore, or other disturbing content, and don't have many squicks or limits as far as this genre is concerned. Deathfic, dubcon, noncon, incest, cheating, mind control, violence, etc are all okay - but it has to fit the story and the fandoms.

Fandoms and Prompts

It seems that I have a lot of feelings and thoughts regarding the fandoms I requested and the prompts because I wrote almost double the word count minimum for the exchange fics in this letter. So sorry. I hope you find something useful here that you can base a fic off of. I mentioned specific characters in the prompts below, but feel free to use as many characters from the fandoms as you wish. If nothing strikes your fancy, feel free to write a fic that doesn't use the prompts, taking into consideration my fandom-specific and general preferences, below.

BSG/Pacific Rim - I would love to see the BSG characters inserted into the Pacific Rim world. I would like to see two of the BSG couples (Lee & Kara, Sharon & Helo) as Jaeger pilots. An idea I find particularly interesting is a scenario wherein Zak and Kara were partnered as Jaeger pilots previously, and he died when they were out on a mission, much like Yancy did in the film. Later on, she discovers that she has drift compatibility with his brother Lee, and which leads to all sorts of conflicted feelings. I'd like to see Gaius as one of the scientist working with Geiszler and Gottlieb, Gaeta working with Tendo, Adama working with Stacker in command, and Roslin as a government official. It's up to you if it is set during the Kaiju war and prior to the events of the film, or if you insert them into the timeline of the film itself as more of a fusion, replacing some of the major characters.

BSG/Pacific Rim - Raleigh and Mako as Viper pilots on BSG

Alias/BTVS - Sydney Bristow, Vampire Slayer. Vaughn is her high school boyfriend, who secretly knows more about Vampire and vampire slayers than he lets on. Arvin Sloane is her watcher, which leads to all sorts of weird because Sloane is completely amoral.

Alias/BTVS - Sydney and Vaughn are sent on a mission to investigate the strange goings on in Sunnydale.

BTVS/Alias - Buffy or Willow joins the CIA. Her mentor is Sydney Bristow.

BSG/BTVS - Kara Thrace, vampire Slayer (with cylons from the BSG world written as vampires in the crossover), either as sole vampire slayer, or as part of the slayer army. If you chose the latter, it'd be awesome if one or more female characters from BSG were part of the slayer army also.

Alias/BSG - Kara and Lee are agents in Syd and Vaughn's world. It's up to you what season of Alias this is in, and what side they are on. For this prompt, canon Alias characters should be in play.

BTVS/BSG - Buffy and a friend of your choice are nugget pilots on the Galactica.

Glee/BTVS - Brittany is a Vampire Slayer. If she is the Chosen One, then I'd love to read a story about her being called and learning how to kill vampires. Dance is one of her special skills that she uses in combat. She takes Santana along with her on stake outs. Either Sue or Emma would make interesting watchers. If you want to do more a strict cross over, I'd like to read about Brittany coming into her slayer powers, then taking Santana on a road trip to meet up with the slayer army.

Glee/Pacific Rim - Glee characters are Jaeger pilots, set prior to the events of the film. Jaeger teams I'd like to see include Santana & Brittany and Kurt & Rachel. Sue is part of the Jaeger program command, and Artie is one of the techs.

Glee/BSG - Santana is a nugget, training to be a Viper pilot. I'd really like to see a lot of interaction with her and Kat because they are so similar, as well as having Santana develop a crush on Kara.

BSG/Greek and Roman Mythology - I really enjoyed the allusions to Green and Roman mythology in both the BSG universe. I'd really like to see this explored further in a fic, focusing on the Greek gods of Athena (Sharon), Artemis (Kara) and Apollo (Lee), Zeus (Adama), Aphrodite (Six) or any other god-to-character parallels that you can come up with, as well as any other themes, stories or gods that you can derive from BSG, considering that . Aurora comes from Roman mythology, not Greek like the rest of the series, but she is frequently associated with Kara, so it may be interesting to explore that also.

THG/Greek and Roman Mythology - With respect to the Hunger Games, there are likewise a great many allusions and cultural references to the Roman Empire. Anything that you would like to write for Rue, Prim or Katniss (who within the context of mythology would be wonderful.

THG/Dollhouse - the Capitol from the HG runs a Dollhouse. The dolls are all former victors.

Dollhouse/Greek and Roman Mythology - in the Dollhouse verse, a request is made for a number Dolls imprinted with the personas of mythological gods, for the purposes of entertainment at a party. Does this spiral wildly out of control? This is something I can see veering toward the crackish.

THG/BSG - BSG characters (as teenagers) are chosen as tributes. Zak is chosen, and Lee volunteers in his place. He goes to the Capitol with Kara, who he has had a crush on for a very long time.

THG/BSG - Katniss, Gale and Peta are nuggets on the Galactica.

THG/BSG - BSG characters are resistance fighters in the revolution against the Capitol.

BSG/Dollhouse - Re-incarnation fic. A BSG character is a doll. The doll's handler is somebody the doll knew from their former life together as part of the colonial fleet. During the imprinting process or during the doll state, a change in the doll's brain triggers something that causes the doll to remember their former life in the fleet.

Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms/Cabin in the Woods/Glee - Glee clubbers or Characters from your favorite fairy tale fandom go to the Cabin in the Woods. They choose a fate based on a gruesome fairytale.

Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms/Glee - The characters from Frozen are students at William McKinley High; they try to join the Glee club and wackiness ensues, especially when Frozen characters with voice actors from Glee (Elsa, Kristoff) meet their Glee character counterparts (Shelby, Jesse).

WTNV/Glee - Strexcorp takes over Lima, OH, and attempts to outlaw singing, as unnecessary artistic expressions of art through vocalization is not productive or efficient.

WTNV/Cabin in the Woods - Strexcorp secretly runs the agency responsible for the cabin in the woods.

Reign/HP - Nostradamus is a Wizard! It would be very interesting to see The Tale of the Three Brothers seen through the eyes of Nostradamus, who perhaps experiences some of the events first hand or meets one of the brothers. Alternatively, an AU where the Reign characters are Wizards at Hogwarts would be interesting.

Reign/BSG - The characters of Reign set in a BSG fusion AU, inspired by this tumblr gif set.

BSG/HP - HP Characters set in the BSG world. I'd like to see the HP trio as Nuggets. For some reason the idea of Hermione finding a hidden talent as a Viper pilot tickles me. Harry would be a Viper pilot, too, of course - he'd be as talented on a Viper as he is with a broom. Ron pilots a raptor, and is a bit insecure about it, and he's jealous because his friends are so much more badass with their viper piloting skills.

BSG/Game of Thrones - I'd love to see a fic with Kara Thrace and Brienne of Tarth, set in either universe, perhaps with Brienne as a pilot in BSG, or Kara as a knight that Brienne encounters during her search for Sansa Stark. I think it'd be interesting to explore the similarities and differences between these two characters.

BSG/Game of Thrones - Set in the BSG verse, Arya is a scrappy kid who desperately wants to be a viper pilot. Her sisters Sansa has a crush on one of the dreamy pilots.

Reign/Game of Thrones - Queen Catherine schemes to put her son Francis on the Iron Throne. She sees as Mary the key to her success in this plan. Nostradamus aids her.

HP/Game of Thrones - Dany (a wizard in this AU) and her Dragons play a role in the fight against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. I'd love to see other GoT characters in this fusion AU, especially if Melisandre is a dark wizard.

Reign/BTVS - Either Mary or one of her ladies in waiting is chosen as a Vampire Slayer. Nostradamus is her watcher. The Darkness is not human at all - he is a vampire. Also, King Henry is possessed by a demon, and Catherine is a seasoned demon hunter. Crack fic for this crossover would be delightful.

Reign/THG - Mary and either Francis or Bash are chosen as tributes.

BTVS/THG - Dawn is chosen to participate in the Hunger Games. Buffy volunteers in her place, and she accompanies Xander to the Capitol to compete in the games.

BTVS/THG - Buffy and her friends are resistance fighters in the revolution against the Capitol.

Glee/Any - Place any of the characters from the other 3 fandoms in the William McKinley glee club in a crack fic.

Glee/Game of Thrones - The New Directions are a musical troupe in Kings Landing. They perform at some significant events and are party to intrigue at court.

Game of Thrones/BTVS - A fic where Sansa is called as a slayer would be interesting, as Arya would be both puzzled and jealous.

Game of Thrones/BTVS - Dany and Her Dragons show up in Sunnydale

Game of Thrones/BTVS - Buffy faces off against the White Walkers.

Game of Thrones/The Hunger Games - Arya volunteers when Sansa is chosen as tribute; never before has a younger sibling volunteered to take the place of an older one. Joffery, Dany, Theon and Margaery are tributes from other districts.

Preferences and notes:

BSG
Kara Thrace is one of my favorite characters ever, and Kara/Lee is my favorite pairing. I don't find Kara/Sam to be particularly exciting from a fanworks point of view, but I don't mind if they are a couple in a fic that isn't about their relationship, if that makes sense. I also enjoy Kara femslash pairings with Kat, Sharon and Dee. If you're not a Kara fan, that's cool - write something else for me about the ladies in this fandom. I'd be especially interested in a fic involving Dee, who was under-served by the series. For any BSG fic set in a verse other than its own, I'd be particularly thrilled if it was written as a reincarnation fic in which the characters remember their past lives with the fleet. For all prompts set in the BSG verse, I'd like canon BSG characters to be included with those characters from the cross over fandom.

Glee
I prefer the S1-S3 New Directions for Glee, with the original New Directions still in high school and part of the glee club. I love all the original Glee club members, but if I had to choose I'd say that Kurt, Rachel and Santana are my favorites. The only one of the new cast that I particularly adore is Kitty, so I wouldn't mind if you incorporated her. I shipped Kurt/Blaine and really loved rare pairs from this fandom, especially Mercedes rare pairs (Mercedes/Santana, Mercedes/Quinn, Mercedes/Sam). For all prompts set at McKinley, I'd like canon Glee characters to be included with those characters from the cross over fandom. Also, I really like Glee darkfic, so if you want to go all out when crossing it over with darker fandoms, that'd be great. I also like Glee crackfic, if that's your thin.

WTNV
I like Tamika Flynn a lot. If you could include her in the story that'd be great. I like Cecil, Carlos, Dana, Daniel, Lauren, and pretty much all the minor characters, too, so please don't take this to mean that I want just a Tamika story (though that'd be cool, too). I find Cecil/Carlos to be really endearing, so if you wanted to write a shippy fic that'd be okay also. I enjoy it when Cecil is Not Normal, has inhuman qualities, or is inhuman, so that's cool too.

BTVS
My favorite characters are Buffy, Cordy, Willow, Drusilla and Anya, though there's not a character from BTVS that I dislike. I'd prefer stories set during the TV series canon. I haven't read the post-series comics, but I'm vaguely familiar with the plot. If you want to write a fic where crossed over characters are part of the slayer army post-series (because that would make sense for some of the prompts I've suggested) without focusing too much on the plot details of the comics (because I would be lost if you did), that would be okay.

Reign
I don't have any particularly shippy feelings about this show, and I wish I did. I love Queen Catherine a great deal and am intruded by Henry's perversions. I like Mary with Francis and Bash equally, but don't really ship either. I have a minor interest in Bash/Francis. I love Mary's ladies in waiting, so if you'd like to include them, that'd be cool.

Game of Thrones
I love all of the ladies on this show, and would prefer a fic focused on them instead of the male characters.

Pacific Rim
I like Mako/Raleigh fic a great deal, and I think Mako is a wonderful character. I don't care for Geiszler and Gottlieb as a couple, though I don't mind reading about them in a fic that is not specifically about either one of them. I'd prefer that any fic involving Pacific Rim be set in that movie's verse and be about Jaeger pilots - the one exception to that would be Mako and Raleigh in the BSG world on Galactca. I really enjoy the trope where the Drift connection continues after the pilots are disconnected from their Jaegers, and where they feel the potential for a connection before they're even hooked up for the first time.

Other Fandoms
I don't have any specific preferences with respect to the other fandoms, go wild. :)

General Preferences

Things I Like: Stories about women, AUs, friendships on the verge of becoming romances, sexual tension, tropes, banter, humour, geeky people, adorable animals (kitties!), world building, backstories, fuck or die, horror and gore, serial killers and psychopaths, superheroes in non-superhero universes, fairy tales, stories where people randomly turn into animals, strange and magical events in the real world that confound the people around them, aliens, science fiction, tentacles, strange and unusual predicaments, bondage, bdsm.
Things I don't like: Mpreg, watersports, bestiality, overly saccharine fluff, kid fic, AUs where everyone is either a dom or a sub, 24/7 BDSM relationships, Omegaverse, slut shaming.
