Yuletide 2013 - Dear Writer

This is my first time participating in Yuletide. I have no idea what to expect, but I do know that I am very happy that you have volunteered to participate and write a fic for me. I really hope that writing this fic is an enjoyable experience for you and that you have fun. :D
As for my fic preferences, my tastes are varied. Well done crackfic is one of my favorite things ever. With respect to smut and romance, the gender of the pairings doesn't matter as much to me as the characters themselves. I really enjoy smut with the right characters, and provided that there is some sort of connection between the characters (romantic love, attraction, or feelings of enmity - it doesn't have to be a connection based on positive emotions). I like fluff that feels more real instead of saccharine. While I love romance in fics, I also enjoy plotty gen. Finally, I love darkfic - horror, gore, or other disturbing content, and don't have many squicks or limits as far as this genre is concerned. Deathfic, dubcon, noncon, incest, cheating, mind control, violence, etc are all okay - but it has to fit the story and the fandom (I'm thinking of Twin Peaks specifically in this case, but it could work for the Metropolis Suies also).
I'm all for Yuleporn! While not all of my chosen fandoms or prompts are porny in nature, I tried to include a few.
Metropolis Suites - Janelle Monáe
I hadn't listened to any of Janelle's music prior to The Electric Lady, which I became aware after io9.com posted about it's science fiction themes. Upon first listening to it, I was blown away. When I got to track 5 ("Good Morning Midnight", the first DJ Crash Crash interlude), it was clear that Janelle's was doing something different and revolutionary with her music. I downloaded her first two albums and fell in love. The scope of the Metropolis Suites project is incredible. Things I'd love to see:
* Cindi's thoughts about her being a possible Messianic character.
* Worldbuilding (with Afrofuturism themes)
* Build upon the Android/Human analogy for racial issues in current north american society
* Weaponized music
Here are some prompts:
* The story of what happened happened when the bounty hunters came for Cindi (referenced in March of the Wolfmasters from The Chase)
* A story set in the club where the End of the World Cyber Freak Festival is being held, featuring Cindi, Dj Crash Crash, Asada 8550 and Melanie 45221
SpaceCamp (1986)
I saw this movie for the first time when I was in grade 7 (the year it was released), and it had a fairly profound impact on me. I really loved and related to Kathryn, the analytical geek girl whose dream it was to become an astronaut. Back in the 80s, seeing a female character in this role was a Big Deal, as the casting of a lady (Andie) in the role of the astronaut camp instructor. This movie was really inspiring, and on a more shallow note, I after watching it I came away with a really strong crush on Lea Thompson, the actress who played Kathryn. As for fic I'd like to see regarding this movie, I'd love to read something about Kathryn's character - either a missing scene from the film involving Andie, Tish or Kevin (her love interest); or a fic set after the movie that explores what she did with her life. If you wanted to go the Yuleporn route, you could write a first time fic between Kathryn and Kevin, or between Kathryn and Tish (either is good. or both.)
Solar System (Anthropomorfic)
Crack fic, please. Prompts / ideas:
* pluto, insulted after being demoted to a dwarf planet, plots to take over the solar system. One of the other planets intervenes.
* Mars and Venus in love
* the journey of sun-grazing comet ISON
Twin Peaks
If you wanted to write darkfic, this show would be an excellent opportunity. Audrey Horne is one of my all time favorite television characters: seductive, mischievous, highly intelligent, and ultimately good intentioned. According to Wikipedia, Audrey was meant to have a relationship with Dale Cooper in S2 of Twin Peaks, but this was vetoed by Kyle MacLachlan as he thought her character was too young for Dale. It'd like to see this explored in some way:
* an AU in which Dale and Audrey strike up a relationship, which is interrupted when something horrible happens (either Dale's worst fears come true and abducted / murdered, or something happens to Dale and Audrey has to rescue him).
* Post-series fic in which Audrey survived the explosion at the bank and comes in contact with Dale/Bob
Other prompts:
* A pre-series story with Audrey and Laura. Perhaps Laura tries to seduce Audrey?
* A scene from Audrey's whirlwind romance with John Justice Wheeler.
* The Log Lady has something to say to Audrey
* What Josie Packard sees and experiences when her soul is trapped in the wood of the Great Northern Hotel. (Doesn't have to be an Audrey story)
* Dubcon Audrey / Blackie O'Reilly - when Audrey is "auditioning" to work at One Eyed Jacks, Blackie has her do far more than tie a cherry stem into a knot with her tongue. I'd prefer this to be a BDSM fic with Blackie as a domme, involving bondage, begging, orgasm control and over-stimulation.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
This is one of my all time favorite 80s movies. Prompts:
* a fic set after the events in the movie, focusing either on Claire and John Bender's romance, or on Claire and Allison's friendship.
* John encounters Brian in the men's room, and comes on to him in an effort to unnerve and freak him out, and is surprised when Brian is into it. What starts out as bullying / intimidation turns into hot sex.
* If you'd like to write an AU with the characters meeting under different circumstances, that'd be great also.
Things I Like: AUs, friendships on the verge of becoming romances, sexual tension, tropes, banter, humour, ladies who are badasses, geeky people, adorable animals (kitties!), world building, backstories, fuck or die, horror and gore, serial killers and psychopaths, superheroes, fairy tales, stories where people randomly turn into animals, strange and magical events in the real world that confound the people around them, aliens, science fiction, tentacles, strange and unusual predicaments, bondage, bdsm.
Things I don't like: Mpreg, watersports, bestiality, overly saccharine fluff, kid fic, AUs where everyone is either a dom or a sub, 24/7 BDSM relationships, slut shaming.
