Not Prime Time 2014 Letter
Hello writer!
I'm excited to participate in this exchange! Feel free to ask questions in comments if you wish - I left anon commenting on. As for my fic preferences, my tastes are varied. Well done crackfic is one of my favorite things ever. With respect to smut and romance, the gender of the pairings doesn't matter as much to me as the characters themselves. I really enjoy smut with the right characters, and provided that there is some sort of connection between the characters (romantic love, attraction, or feelings of enmity - it doesn't have to be a connection based on positive emotions). I like fluff that feels more real instead of saccharine. While I love romance in fics, I also enjoy plotty gen. Finally, I love darkfic - horror, gore, or other disturbing content, and don't have many squicks or limits as far as this genre is concerned. Deathfic, dubcon, noncon, incest, cheating, mind control, violence, etc are all okay - but it has to fit the story and the fandom.

Pacific Rim (2013)
Mako Mori, Raleigh Becket
Despite the fact that the film ended on an ambiguously platonic note, I really love post-canon fics about Mako and Raleigh that explore the romantic potential between them. I think that perhaps it is because there is so much that could be explored in their relationship that wasn't touched in canon. I'd love to read a fic set five years since the Kaiju War ended. During that time, Mako and Raleigh's lives diverged in opposite directions, not because they didn't want to spend time together (they did), but that's just how things worked out. Now, the Kaiju have returned, and Mako and Raleigh must work together as Jaeger pilots, fighting the war and training new recruits. When they are reunited they find that the drift is as strong as ever, but is now fraught with sexual tension.
Battlestar Galactica (2003)
Kara Thrace, Louanne Katriane
BSG is the one fandom I love enough to request twice. I adore it and the characters in it, but I love Kara Thrace most of all. She's my favorite character in any canon, ever. I found Kat to be an interesting foil for Kara because in some way's she's a mirror for Kara. Kat's loud, and brash and inappropriate, and she's aiming for the Top Gun slot occupied by Kara herself. Kat needed to be reigned in earlier in the series, but over time it becomes obvious that she sees herself as a rival and equal to Kara, perhaps even better than her.
I'd love to see Kat and Kara's antagonistic relationship explored, and it takes the turn for the femslashy, all the better. I'd love to see a fic that looks at her time as a nugget looking up to hotshot pilot Starbuck, or her stims induced freak out (followed by a disciplinary session with Starbuck), to her actively competing with Starbuck to be the top gun of the fleet.
Please don't write about Kat's death. I just find it to be really sad and pointless.

Kara and Lee are one of my OTP's - in fact they're probably the OTP that I'm never going to get over and will love forever. Like most fans, I found the conclusion of their story line to be incredibly unfulfilling, and would like to see it explored beyond kara's disappearance. Specifically, I'd love to read a post-canon re-incarnation story with these two where they don't remember each other at first, but are inexplicably drawn together because their souls know each other. A shocking event triggers their memories of their lives on the Colonies and Galactica.
If post-canon fic isn't your thing, here are some other prompts:
-I'd love to read your take on what happened after the boxing match in Unfinished Business.
- a fic set pre-series in the Academy involving lots of competitive behaviour
- Lee takes care of Kara after she crash landed on the red moon in "You Can't Go Home Again"
Breaking Bad
Jane Margolis, Jesse Pinkman
Jane's death was so horrible and tragic. I don't think that Jesse ever really got over it. I'd like to read a fic that explored the impact of her death on his psyche. Specifically I think it'd be interesting to read about Jane appearing to Jesse while he is held captive at Jack's compound. Is it a hallucination, or a visit from beyond the grave? How does he react? Do they talk to one another? What does this look like to an external observer?
Game of Thrones (TV)
Margaery Tyrell, Sansa Stark
I love how kind Margaery is to Sansa in the show (I'm a show only fan, sorry to say). I'd like to see that explored further - whether it is shippy or platonic is up to you. Perhaps Margaery could take Sansa under her wing and tutor her about navigating court politics. Perhaps they share some girl time together, bonding over clothes and jewelry. If you want to go the shipping route, perhaps Margaery could teach Sansa about kissing. Most of all, I'd love to read about them bonding over their feelings regarding Joffrey, eventually trusting each other to tell each other the truth.
Grey's Anatomy
April Kepner, Jackson Avery
Jackson and April are one of my fluffy OTP's. They are just incredible adorable together. I'd love to read a fic about Jackson and April's wedding, and / or scenes from their secret marriage while working at the hospital.
Things I Like: AUs, friendships on the verge of becoming romances, sexual tension, tropes, banter, humour, ladies who are badasses, geeky people, adorable animals (kitties!), world building, backstories, fuck or die, horror and gore, serial killers and psychopaths, superheroes, fairy tales, stories where people randomly turn into animals, strange and magical events in the real world that confound the people around them, aliens, science fiction, tentacles, strange and unusual predicaments, bondage, bdsm.
Things I don't like: Mpreg, watersports, bestiality, overly saccharine fluff, kid fic, AUs where everyone is either a dom or a sub, 24/7 BDSM relationships, omegaverse, slut shaming.
Ratings: G to NC-17
